anyone know anything-has good reviews-very reasonable-location good-anyone taken the buses around old san juan-safe?

Just got back from SJ and stayed there for a night on the back end of an 11 day cruise.

 

Its hard to find if you are new to SJ but your best bet is to ask where the Caribe Hilton is. It is around the corner and facing the main one way road. Its a few doors down from a Subway on the cornere. Green bulding with name set back so hard to see from street level.

 

Very neat and clean with small rooms. Nice balcony - a little noisy on the street side but not bad. The sink was in the main room. Toilet and shower area separate. Weird but really not a problem. No parking there. You have to park in the Caribe Hilton lot if you have a car. Buses duirng the day are fine. At night, a little risky. I'm not familiar with buse schedules, routes in Condado. Saw plenty of them though.

 

Good luck .... the hotel is fine and the area is safe.
