West Whale Bay Beach for Wedding?

Hi everyone,so the wedding planner ive been talking to has suggested West Whale Bay Beach for our ceremony,being that its only 10 mins away from Kings Wharf-are there any other beaches that are close? And has anyone been here or gotten married there? Thanks!:o

Can someone help with specific directions to WB from the Dockyard...I know I can take #7 bus, not sure to what stop and where it is in relation to bus stop. Not about to get lost.

West Whale Bay is at the end of Whale Bay Rd which intersects with Middle Rd which is the bus route. You will have to walk about .5 mile from the bus route to WWB. You do understand that the beach disappears at high tide so make sure you check the tides for the day of your visit. When you board the bus, tell the bus driver your destination is WWB or Whale Bay Rd.

 

In the other thread, I suggested that you take a taxi to WWB; that has not changed.

 

BTW, if you are coming from the Dockyard only, you can take either a route #7 or #8 bus to get to WWB.
