BoatYard

You can get to the same beach by going to Lobster Alive which has free access and is next to the Boatyard. You can then check out the Boat Yard and see if you want to pay for admission. We walked in the opposite direction and rented two chairs and an umbrella for $10 total. Much less crowded than Boat Yard. It is our favorite beach and we walk from the ship. We have done this three times and it is always the highlight of our cruise.

We visited this Beach Facility in January and it was great, it was myself , husband, three kids ages 11-16 and my 2 elderly parents. It is close by to the Port, and offers everything you would need for a day at the beach. We paid 12 us per person and this included a beach chair, umbrella, one drink, use of ocean trampolines, rope swing, climbing slice, dive board, there are showers and restrooms, a bar and restaurant. There are persons on the beach who do jet skiing , snorkelling and so on but you rent that stuff separately, you just have to get the price agreed on before you take the activity and I am sure you will have a great time. Plus we got a free ride back to the ship in ht afternoon.

How did you manage the free ride back to the ship? This wouldn't be something available to all, would it?

We've been to the Boatyard twice, on previous cruises. We plan to return this summer on our Victory cruise. It's a great place for all ages. The free ride back to the ship is also a bonus!!

How much is the taxi fare?

Thank you.

Anyone been to the Boat Yard?? If so would you suggest it? If you only had one day here what would you choose?? I have a family of five and we are pretty active and love the water but also want to see the best things.

The boatyard is great to go to with family. There is alot of activities and food and drinks. You will have a good time there.:)
