Does anyone know for sure if we need a tourist visa for Muscat Oman. It looks like we do for what i have read, as the ship is docked for more than 24 hours. It looks like it costs £33 although if you go overland from Dubai the fee is waived.

you need this visa. Price --> USD 15 pP.:rolleyes:

RCI hold a group visa ready. The cost will be charged to onboard account.

It does say on that link that it only applied to American/Candaians do you think it will iclude us too

I just looked on royal caribberan uk webite and it does say the same about a blanket visa for $15 so i am sure we will all be ok

Guests arriving Muscat by ship:

All guests (except Israeli nationals) arriving Muscat/Oman by cruise ships will be issued a "Group Visa" on submission of the passenger manifest. The passenger manifest should be forwarded to us a minimum of 48 working hours (Saturday to Wednesday) prior to vessel arrival at Muscat.

There is no charge to the guest for the group visa in Oman

For stays over 24 hours, there is likely to be a visa charge of approx. $15/pp
