On board accounts

We are cruising with friends in April, My son is staying in a cabin with our friend and her son, while my husband and I and our younger son will be in another cabin across the hall. My question is can my son who is staying with the friend be on our account while she and her son have their own or will my son be required to be on her account because he is in her cabin. It is really not too big of a deal either way, but for automatic tip billing etc. it would be easier if he is on our acct. (he wont have charging priv. so not worried about him running up a bill) Just curious as to how this will get set up
