bronski Posted February 9, 2011 #1 Share Posted February 9, 2011 Hi everyone, First time cruising. Can anyone tell me what, if any, amenities are included in a balcony cabin. Is it like a hotel? For example, hair dryer? hangers? clock? shampoo/conditioner/soap? I do know towels are provided :) thanks

Elkhorn20fan Posted February 9, 2011 #8 Share Posted February 9, 2011 I think there is a clock on the phone, but not sure. You can call for a wake up call also just like in a hotel.

argenta01 Posted February 10, 2011 #10 Share Posted February 10, 2011 The telephone has the time on it and serves as an alarm clock as well.
AndyTheK Posted February 10, 2011 #11 Share Posted February 10, 2011 The telephone has the time on it and serves as an alarm clock as well.True, but IIRC it is not illuminated. Best to bring a small travel clock.
donna5 Posted February 10, 2011 #12 Share Posted February 10, 2011 Also if you use the wake up call, make sure your phone is working, it is weird but on several cruises either the ringer didn't work and wouldn't know we got a call until the message waiting light was flashing, or on other cruises found out when one of us left a message for the other, the messages were not showing up. So a travel alarm or watch with alarm is a very good idea.
