Transfer-Port Everglades to Port of Miami

We are sailing on the Constellation from Port Everglades then moving on to the Eclipse in Miami on the day of debarkation. Any tips on changing ports.

There are shuttles, but we usually just rent a car. It's about 45 bucks for the day and lets us go shopping, get a bite to eat, whatever we want. We pick up the car at FLL (airport) and drop it at MIA, using the rental car shuttles between port and airport. It means a little more shuffling of luggage and a little extra time, but we like the freedom the car gives us. No set schedule.
