Tell me about Carnival Imagination Casino

Hi,

if anyone has an opinion about the casino on the Imagination I would really appreciate it.We'll be going on our first ever cruise this June and will be sailing on the Imagination.

My DH and I both play tables (me; craps/him:roulette), and I also play some slots, and Let It Ride/3 Card Poker once in a while.

I am curious as to how crowded the casino gets ( I know this varies depending on many factors), how smoky it gets, table minimums, and if it is open 24 hours when not in port?

Thanks!!

We were on the Imagination last month. Not a big selection of slots which were pretty tight. The table minimums were $5, The dealers were very good to me and i not a big better. Five bucks for me. I had a really good roll at the craps table. Bout 40 -45 minutes. Made a bunch of people real happy. I made a few bucks but as i said i not a heavy roller. The three card poker was also 5 bucks. There was a guy from Korea being to the first left of the dealer and he could do no wrong. Several straight flushes, flushes etc. He really had a large stack when he cashed. All in all it was O.K. but we did better at Atlantis. For a three day cruise it's not all that bad. The smoke was not that bad. Have fun and enjoy.;);) Also the casino is open in Nassau when the ship is docked. It's open until the crowd departs every night.

the casinos in the ships are only open when they are ten miles off the coast of any land, therefor....no gaming commish, or all that stuff the states have, and there is no records of there slot payout, in roulette on a ship if u bet black, and it hits green, u loose all of your bet, as in usa you would only loose half.

The casino is OPEN onboard the Imagination when IN port. The ship is registered in the Bahamas !!!!! And it's not 10 miles . It's when the ship gets to international waters.

Huh, what?????? What casino is only taking half your bet? Cutting the house advantage in half at roulette makes it almost as good of a game as 21.

Thanks for all of the replies. Our cruise is now only 5 weeks away, and we cannot wait as it will be our very first cruise.

To the poster about red, and green and only losing half the bet- i say what??? First off it is Red and Black, not green, and nowhere that I've ever played including Vegas do you get half your bet back in roulette...
