Which Greek ports use tenders?

Will be stopping at Corfu, Mykonos, Rhodes and Santorini. Would appreciate from those that have cruised there, which ports use tenders. Thanks in advance...

We meet again! According the RCCL website for Mykonos and Santorini, the former is a tender port and the latter is not. I assume this is true for most of the larger cruise ships. I'm sure someone else can help with the other two ports.

in Rhodes you will dock and the harbor is next to the old (enwalled sp?)city.

Great place to walk around. Visit the Knights castle with the mosaics on the floor. Many shops, restaurants with outside terraces etc.

 

Mykonos is probably also dock, but it depends on how many ships are in port.

Santorini is only tenders.

 

I donot know about Corfu.

It will really depend on what other ships are in port. Last April we were on the Star Princess (large ship) for a Mediterranean cruise. When we were in Santorini we had to tender ashore. When we were in Corfu, Mykonos and Rhodes we were at the dock. In fact with 11 ports of call we only had to tender ashore twice.....at Katakolon and Santorini. I'm sure that if we did the same trip again the results would be different depending on the schedule of other ships.

Isn't it the other way around? Mykonos is a docking port, while Santorini is a tender, at least it was for us last October on Brilliance.

Santorini al always tenders, they donot have a large port.

 

Mykonos is mostly dock, but we had te tender once as there were more ships.
