cruisergrandma Posted February 14, 2011 #1 Share Posted February 14, 2011 We are a family of 4 booking into a 6D on the Elation. The cabin description says it has twin beds, one bunk and a trundle. I asked Carnival about this layout and was told that the trundle bed slided out from under one of the twins. Does anyone have a photo of how a room like this looks when set up for 4 people? What would the floor layout look like?

I'm not really sure; wait for some other responses as well.:) Enjoy your cruise!
Lady_Jag Posted February 14, 2011 #3 Share Posted February 14, 2011 Hi! If you do a search for "trundle bed" or "trundle" you'll hit some threads with pictures. On Fantasy class ships, a trundle is just that - a shorter bed that slides under one of the twins. I can't remember if the trundle or the roll away is the one that is not the same height as a regular bed and stays on the floor. Here's a thread with pics: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=1147110 and here: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=1297607
