YEAH!!!! I LOVE this thread!!!

I have sailed the Liberty but am not on a computer with my pics at the moment......I am sailing her again next month;)

Does anyone have photos of a suite stateroom and balcony (Cat 11/Ocean Suite)?? I accepted an upsell call from my Empress Deck Balcony to a Suite and I am looking for photos to be able to put on a BDay card for my DD (Cruise is a BDay gift for her).

WOW!!! I am totally blown away by the fantasic response to my request. You folks rock in so many ways.

I take it the Liberty is nothing short of being special for so many people and allowing memories to be made. I read one post where people were recalling their cruise and to me, that's what it is all about----making friends and memories.

I appreciate all the work everyone did by allowing not only my self but the others in my group see what we have to look forward to on our upcoming adventure in July. We must say that we are excited each and every day for what we are calling a 'once in lifetime opportunity'...but truthfully we are hoping it won't be just once, but many more.

We are new to the cruising game, but we won't let that stop us from having some magical times aboard a beautiful ship.

PLEASE don't stop there, if anyone has others that they wish to share, or give us the insight on the ship, we would LOVE LOVE LOVE to see and read all about it. :-)

Ok, crazy question and probably should have asked this question before....and sorry for not doing so but one of the folks in my group is taking her 9 yr old daughter and have enrolled her into Camp Carnival. Does anyone have any pics of that area and can shed some news on what all they do in CC?

Thanks again! :-)

So exciting! We've only been on 2 cruises (with a 3rd coming next year). My best advice is to go into the adventure with an open spirit and mind. Have reasonable expectations (not everything will be as perfect as you might envision) but, you will have a fantastic time!

I have been on 4 Carnival cruises and the Liberty is my favorite ship. I was on the 01/15/11 sailing. I don't have photos but I want to tell you that you will have an awesome time. The ship is beautiful and brightly decorated. It is spotlessly clean. The food and the service is great. So is the entertainment. It is a large ship but the lines were not bad at all. You will certainly enjoy the Liberty.

I spotted you on the lido Sharon! We had a blast on that cruise. We are still saying "Tyreeeeeeeeell"

Wooops, Sharon I had my Sharons mixed up! What is hilarious though is that on your Lido deck picture you did manage to capture the Sharon I was talking about.

Blushing lol

Yes, there were 2 Sharon's on the roll call; southern Sharon and me, Northern Sharon (photo attached). We met Sharon on the Lido at sailaway, then never saw them again :( As I remember, you came in 2nd in the mixology contest...way to go!

  • 2 weeks later...

I thought the Liberty was so pretty. I took so many pictures of the atrium area that week. It wasn't my favorite cruise for personal reasons having nothing to do with the ship, but I'll always remember it for how pretty it was--very different color scheme than normal and they have lights that are constantly changing colors. The first 3 pics are the same location as the lights changed. :) Have fun!

I would love some more info on the spa deck cabin. What number/category were you in?

Thanks,

Gina

Loved the cabin. It was very quite and only steps from the open deck. Even with the spa being there, we never noticed any problems with noise, but we are not that picky.

I believe we paid $30 a person more for the cabin than an ocean view on deck 2 mid. We paid $529 pp but had $70pp back in OBC. The views were awesome, the next best thing to a balcony, but it was $130pp less than the balcony.

The room was 1107. It is called a family ocean view cat 6j.
