Cabs plentiful in FLL on Sundays

Last year, we came back to Fort Lauderdale when it was 30 degrees and raining on a Saturday. It was right after the Oasis of the Seas launched (something like 13 ships in port that day), and there was a lack of cabs at the port to get back to the airport. After a 40 minute wait in the rain, we finally got a ride on a shuttle.

Now, I'm planning for our March cruise. Our flight leaves around 2, so we would prefer to stay on the ship as long as possible. Is lack of cabs still a problem?

Everything depends on the number of passengers disembarking. FTL is the number one cruise port now with the added ships as of late. So obviously with 13 ships in port, you will wait. We have never waited more than 15 min. for a cab. Guess we have been lucky. Maybe offer to share a cab if luggage allows for that.
