kerrytens Posted February 20, 2011 #26 Share Posted February 20, 2011 Hmmmh, not sure any of you will ever want to cruise with me - out of my grand 2 cruises only one has made all of its ports. The other one was totally altered. I did have fun watching and listening to people complain on that one though:D I still had a great time - I was in the Caribbean during a Canadian winter ... what could be wrong with that? emilygrace Posted February 20, 2011 #27 Share Posted February 20, 2011 Just completed cruise #18 (with various cruise lines) and we have only missed one port. It was on our westbound Transatlantic this past September and after leaving Iceland we missed Newfoundland because of a North Atlantic storm at the southern tip of Greenland. We were just glad we made it to our two ports in Iceland since that was the big draw of that cruise.
cherbear4000 Posted February 21, 2011 #28 Share Posted February 21, 2011 Out of 10 or so many cruises I have been on, I have only missed a port twice. Once on a Celebrity cruise we missed the Bahamas due to engine troubles. There was a women on board that was meeting her entire family in the Bahamas since she and her fiancee (also on board) where planning on getting married there. I have never seen anyone so hysterical in my life. We also had a Grand Cayman port on a Carnival cruise changed to Costa Maya due to a hurricane.
