Have you used HAL shuttle from FLL to Pier?

We arrive at FLL at 9:30 a.m. and have reserved through HAL for their shuttle transportation to the pier. Will we have to wait for other arrivals before it leaves, or will they take us to the pier right away? Cost is $17.00 per person, so we hope we do not have to wait.

Usually you have to wait until the bus fills up before they take you to the pier.

Considering that a taxi would be that price or less total, I would go that route rather than purchase the transfer thru HAL.

Per airline website it is $15 for a taxi to the Pier. (up to 5 people)

Good idea. The last time I took a ship transfer my flight arrived at 11am and I sat on the bus til 2pm waiting for other passengers.
