JXR Posted February 20, 2011 #2 Share Posted February 20, 2011 Can we make it? Thanks! It's gonna be tight. You'll have to do self-disembarkation. Even though the ship gets in early, the ship still needs to be cleared by customs. If there are any unforeseen delays, you will not be making that flight. Good Luck!! MDSue Posted February 20, 2011 #3 Share Posted February 20, 2011 Can we make it? Thanks! Probably, but the ship might not start departures until around 8am. You can get through customs and into a taxi pretty quickly for the 15-20 minute trip to the airport. Then you have to get through an agriculture inspection and customs. You will be cutting it close, so make sure you are in the first group to depart. The ships schedule departure groups according to your flight schedule. If there are any glitches, you may have a problem, but I've always had good luck getting through the airport. Make sure you print your boarding passes on the ship the day before so you won't have to wait in that line at the airport.
Cruisin KLS Posted February 20, 2011 #4 Share Posted February 20, 2011 We were on AOS on the 02/06 sailing and the first group off the ship that day were called at 8:50. A 10:45 flight is cutting it kind of close but it may not be impossible. You are putting a lot of faith in everything going right and on time. sail7seas Posted February 20, 2011 #5 Share Posted February 20, 2011 Everything has to go perfectly. We'd never book a flight cutting it that close but we are 'low risk takers'.
