Anyone gone diving in Puerto Rico?

I am going to go diving in Puerto Rico and was wondering if anyone has experience diving there. I thought I remember reading that the diving wasnt all that great. Well, we are going to be in San Juan for 3 days precruise. I am certified and my future brother-in-law is going to take the discover scuba course so that we can dive together in Bonaire with a divemaster of course. Any help or insight to diving in Puerto Rico would be greatly appreciated.
