Carnival Insurance vs Travel Insured Insurance??

Has anyone ever used Carnival's Insurance? What about Travel Insured Insurance?? I think that Carnival's price for their insurance is high. I have never heard anything about this other insurance. If you have please let me know. I appreciate any help you can give me.....

No simple answers here. You need to compare what you get from each policy before comparing prices. I prefer to use a policy from an outside insurance company not from a cruise line.

We went to Insure My Trip for insurance. Its insuremytrip.com. They have feature that you can compare different ones. You can select what special options you want as a filter. It was much cheaper than Carnival and covered alot more. Also, if you are at all confused, call the Customer Services number, they are great, answer all questions and apply no pressure. I have to have Cancel for Work option as my leave could be cancelled. Carnival's insurance doesnot offer this. Also, the policy we selected included 'hurrican warning' and most do not. Ours was about $20 cheaper than Carnival and again, covered more. Check them out.

Travel Insured has a good reputation but that doesn't mean their plan are right for YOU. But if they have the coverages I needed I would feel comfortable buying from them.
