Can anyone tell me how much a cab would be from the port (Crown Princess on May 22) to this Hilton? And also, how much a cab would be the next morning to the Coach station for the National Express Bus?

The Hilton is on the city's northern boundary. Good hotel, but not the most convenient for those without a car.

 

Each trip 5 miles, each about £15 by taxi, mebbe a shade more depending which cruise terminal.

 

Nat Express coach will go past your hotel on the way to London, etc. :rolleyes:

 

There is a coach pick-up point at Southampton University main campus, just 2 miles from your hotel, but only a few of the day's coaches stop there - check the pick-up points for your chosen coach time. You may be lucky. :)

 

Hilton used to offer a free one-way cruise transfer, but I think they've stopped.

Forgot to check back sooner, and I do thank you for your helpful reply. We decided to stay in the area near the cruise ships instead.
