Dinner on shore

Our ship will be in port until midnight and we would like to have dinner on shore. Any suggestions for a restaurant with great food (first and foremost) and a location either on the beach or with an awesome view?

I will also be on a ship that will be in port until 11 PM and am trying to figure out how to spend the evening. Any suggestions from natives or frequent visitors?

Last winter DH and I had planned to have dinner at Bistro Le Clochard that is on the waterfront. It was very windy, and our ship was unable to dock, so we missed a port call in Curacao. We are considering a cruise next January that will stop in Curacao from 1:00 - 10:00 PM. We'd still like to go to this highly-rated restaurant. I, too, would appreciate hearing from locals or frequent visitors. We've heard that Bistro Le Clouchard is pricy, but we're on vacation and enjoy fine dining when we travel :)
