Suggest you go to your cruise's Roll Call and make the offer there. Much higher chance of getting a postive response.

 

The Celebirty Roll Call is a forum for each ship which lists a thread for each cruise started by a fellow cruiser where people on your specific cruise share posts.

Nice itinerary, you're going to have a great time. As has been said, check out the roll call.

 

We used The Van Man... Santiago has a lot to see, but I wouldn't overlook Valparaiso either. Santiago is more of a modern capital; then you've got the wine country along the way to the coast; and Vina del Mar and Valparaiso at the coast with very different flavour. He can put together a nice day for you that ends at the ship for embarkation, or in Valparaiso for embarkation the next day. Choices, choices. Enjoy! :)
