Hampton Inn Ft. Lauderdale

Has anyone stayed at the Hampton Inn City Center? Is it in a good part of town? How convenient is it to restaurants, the dock, etc.?

We stayed at the Hampton Inn Airport. Not too far from port or airport. Good rates. Free shuttle to and from airport and cruiseport. Has a free breakfast in the morning and is within walking distance to grocery stores and fast food restaurants.
We thought it was nice and clean and had excellent rooms.

Geema: Thanks for the heads up on this hotel. My family and I will be staying here before we leave on our cruise. We wanted a hotel that was close to the airport because our flights get in late.
