Seattle airport - how early for checkin?

How far in advance of our flight home do we need to arrive at the Seattle airport? I'm guessing that, for Seattle during Alaska cruise season, we may need more than the 2 hours they recommend for most airports. We'll be on a 7:45 a.m. (if they don't change that yet again) flight on a Sunday morning. Thanks in advance.

2 hrs is fine. If you can do a kiosk for bag drops it goes pretty easy. Seattle security lines can get long but in Seatac once you go thru any of them you can go to any gate. There are 3 to 4 principal security lines. If your flying out of a N or S gate you take the train but its not a long process.

2 hours would be more than fine for a 7:45am flight on a Sunday morning. SeaTac can get quite crowded weekdays in the early am with business people doing day trips, but even then 2 hours is enough.
