Better Golf? St. Thomas or St. Maarten?

I suspect that St. Thomas may have a better maintained course, but St. Maarten has awesome views.

From an earlier post:

One of my earlier postings may have been one that you read from years ago.

Part of it said:

My understanding is that most golfers would consider it neglected, but true golfers would play it anyway. There are many fantastic views from the course.

It's on the path for our regular morning walk out to buy a newspaper, so I have some photos of the course posted over in my PhotoBucket. Note that the quality of the course varies with the amount of recent rain, as I don't think the sprinkler system works any more.

I think it's still the same story. If you look in my PhotoBucket album for The Towers at Mullet Bay, there are some photos (at the end) that show portions of the course last August.

I believe the cost is just under $100 for 18, plus cart and clubs.

The St. Maarten Golf Association still plays several tournaments a year on the course.
