Are there any beaches or pools near the ship in Free port? Just want to get off the ship and go to a beach. Can you snorkel or jet ski close to the ship? Thanks

I wish they stopped going to the island. Why not go to the private island? Freeport is perhaps the worst destination that Carnival goes to.

 

We are going on the fascination in a few days and plan to stay on the boat and take advantage of the Spa Deals that are reserved for Port Days.

There isnt anything substantial right off the ship. We took a shuttle to Our Lucaya and had a wonderful beach day there. DBF found some local beers at a cigar shop close by for $2.00. We really enjoyed Freeport and cant wait to go back

We booked Paradise Cove/Dead Man's Reef for a day at Freeport. No JetSkis but snokeling. It is $35 per person and that includes transportation to and from the boat. They pick you up when you arrive and take you back when you are ready to leave. Just google it and take a look.

I am going in June and plan to take a cab to our lucaya. They say you can rent water toys, jet skis, parasail right there at the beach. Try the Bahamas board. I have found a lot of info on there.

On our first cruise a little over 10 years ago we stopped in Freeport and took our first tour.

 

Within 10 minutes fell asleep. That was the highlight of our tour.

 

Since than have gotten very good about avoiding this island.
