Walk to????Ideas

Will be here in less than two weeks for the day...have tours booked on all the other stops....we just wanted to chill out on this stop and walk about on our own and putt about.......any suggestions...My wife likes to look in every store...my idea of fun is to have a beer and stare out at the water...ha ha....anything will help...Ken in Kelowna

Curacao is a great port for wandering around on your own. You will dock on the Otrabanda side and can walk across the floating bridge to the Punda side. There are some decent shops, some historical buildings and the Floating Market, which is interesting. There is a casino within walking distance of the pier also.

You have it made at this port !!! There is a great waterfront place to have a cold beer and stare at the water. Off hand I don't remember the name of the place but you can't miss it. (I think the name might have Iguana in it)

You can sit and watch the floating bridge open and close. It is fun to watch people running across the bridge to try and make shore when they see a boat coming. :D

The shopping is right behind it.
