Brake Boy Posted March 4, 2011 #1 Share Posted March 4, 2011 Has anyone tried the Segways in St. George's? I understand that it is quite hilly there and the Segways are a little tough to handle. Would it be better using the Segways in the Dockyard? Thanks for your help.
iheartbda Posted March 4, 2011 #2 Share Posted March 4, 2011 It might be better to use them at Dockyard but St. George has more to see and the route they use is unbeatable for scenic beauty.

No one had a problem with the hill, though one person did later crash by clipping a light pole (with no injuries). The Segway tour is fun. The biggest surprise to me was how tired my ankles/lower legs got. We did have time to get off the Segway and take breaks, but it was still tiring to my ankles/lower legs. Did you book it through the ship or on your own? My son would love to do this. It does sound like a lot of fun.
