northernsailor Posted March 4, 2011 #2 Share Posted March 4, 2011 Not really sure if it's still considered strange or not now as you've linked to the live cam! I can say the current view is normal as it's based on the left hand side of the bridge. It's fairly low down as crew have to mind hitting their head on it if they get up close to the window! I nearly did back in November! Chris
SailorManBilly Posted June 4, 2011 #3 Share Posted June 4, 2011 Looks pretty normal to me.
RCNslr Posted June 5, 2011 #4 Share Posted June 5, 2011 Perhaps the satellite is not working, but no view other than May 31 for past few days. Any suggestions?
bluemarble Posted June 5, 2011 #5 Share Posted June 5, 2011 Perhaps the satellite is not working, but no view other than May 31 for past few days. Any suggestions? The QM2 webcam is working for me, showing "Jun 05 2011". Are you using this link to the QM2 bridge web cam page? http://www.cunard.com/Ships/Queen-Mary-2/Bridge-Web-Cam/ Have you done a page refresh in your browser to make sure you aren't retrieving a stale copy of the webcam image from your browser cache? RCNslr Posted June 5, 2011 #6 Share Posted June 5, 2011 John, Many thanks, you have solved the mystery for me and I can keep an eye on the QM2. Regards, Bert
bluemarble Posted June 5, 2011 #7 Share Posted June 5, 2011 John,Many thanks, you have solved the mystery for me and I can keep an eye on the QM2. Regards, Bert You're welcome. I just checked the QM2 Bridge webcam and this is what I am seeing now. Not sure if this qualifies as a strange angle, but it certainly is not the usual webcam view. It looks like it is literally a "bridge" webcam at the moment. Regards, John.
lannp Posted June 5, 2011 #8 Share Posted June 5, 2011 I've seen this angle before. Perhaps somebody was bored and looking for something to do?
