? Last Minute Cruises - Where to book ?

Recommended Posts

This is sort of a followup to this thread about walking in the day of a cruise to get on the ship: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=1325405

I was wondering where to get last minute cruise deals when you don't care about room selection, nor do you care if it is this week or next week? I live in Houston, so Galveston departures are easy for me, but I wanted to just get a quick getaway cruise at a good price.

Do you check the Carnival/RCI websites for deals or do the last minute (i.e. empty cabin) deals available through some other site or agent?

Thank you.
