This is our 1st cruise can someone tell me what is the dress code for the Gala Evening Dinner on board.

Im a first time cruiser going 4th June so no experience of the Gala dinner but from information provided by previous cruisers I understand that DJ, suit or jacket with trousers are all perfectly acceptable. I dont mind either way and would be comfortable with any option but the men in our party are planning on taking a lightweight jacket with trousers.

I don't own an DJ and this is what I wore, black suit and bow tie.
