Just Back..Voyager, 2-27-11 cruise

What a great week! Here is a very, very quick commentary...

Boarding-Sunday: FOG, RCI failed to post notice of problem on web site, those that did not check in with CC may have seen the fog, but had not clue boarding would be delayed. Very long lines, but on-site staff did the very best they could....Got us out of port that evening, just did open deating for dinner in MDR.

Staff: no change, just plain outstanding...throughout the ship!

Food: Big change!!!! Dramatic improvement, superb meals

Entertainment: Well done RCI

Weather: Once we burst out of the fog, what a spectacular week of weather until late Saturday afternoon, temps had cooled a bit then we got hit with a storm.....really cooled...no big deal...did not dampen anyone's day.

Demographics seemed older...probably we all jammed into this week to avoid Spring Breakers.... As usual, demopgrahics were across the board....the only strangers were those folks you did nto say hi to for the week....lots of folks from Northern USA escaping winter..

We sailed Voyager on the 2/20 sailing. Exactly the same experience. The only difference is we didn't get out of port until Mon morning, but we were on the ship Sun by dinnertime and all was well. Excellent cruise. Still working on my review. Voyager is a great experience, even with the fog delays.
