Arranging private car transfer through shore excursions desk

Last year we had the option of arranging for a private car for our airport transfer through the shore excursions desk. Does anyone know how early they will allow you to request the car for pick up if docking at 7:00am?

Each port is different, depending on size, customs and probably the weather.

Some are extremely efficient, however I would give it no less than 1-1/2 to 2 hours, less if you are carrying all your luggage.

I would recommend googling a local taxi company. We have done it many times but if it's a big port you will need to get specific terminal information from Seabourn.

In Athens last year Seabourn were charging $89 per person to a city centre hotel, we booked with athens-taxi.eu and it was 35 euro's for a Mercede's that would carry 4, additionally they were extremely helpful and somehow got the car right up to the dock. I was very impressed.
