First night Specialty restaurant

I'm trying to decide on Samba's Grill vs Giovanni's for our first night on Allure (Eastern). There are 6 of us, 2 adults and our 2 kids and their 2 friends, ages 17-20. Want to start the week with a special sail away meal experience. We all like Italian but Samba's looks more laid back and fun, particularly for the kids. A little concerned though about about the food quality at Samba's based on the board reviews. Planning on Chops on Monday, the first formal night. Any advise or personal experience greatly appreciated as I start to plan our week in June. Thanks
