Specialty restaurants in Oceania ships

We are considering a cruise with Oceania Regatta. Are the specialty restaurants included in the price? Is this so for all cabin categories? Somebody mentioned once it was only from Category D upwards....We were on Regatta once but I do not remember the policy.

Specialty restaurants are free to all passengers. Suite passengers are entitled to two reservations in each restaurant (as opposed one one for the other passengers) but generally you can get more reservations if you wish. You are not forbidden from dining there more than once unless there just isn't room.

Also, suite passengers can make reservations online earlier than non-suite passengers.

We were just on the Nautica cruising around Italy in October and will be on the Regatta in June goint to Alaska. Yes, if you are in the regular cabins you can make one reservation in each restaurant. Make these online before you depart. You can check once you are onboard to see if you can make additional reservations. Normally they can get you in. The food and service is fantastic.

Thanks for the restaurant infor. Have not used Oceania before. Also interested in restaurant wine policies. May you bring own wine?? :confused:If so there is usually a corkage fee.

Appreciate the infor:)

You can bring your own wine on board for consumption in your room. If you take it into the restaurant (or any other public space), there IS a corkage fee. I think it's $20 but that may have changed since we last paid the fee.

Except for the Marina, Concierge Level Veranda staterooms (A-1, A-2, and A-3) are also entitled to two reservations in each restaurant, but can book only 60 days or fewer out.

The buffet restaurant on O is the Terrace Cafe but they don't serve all that late. 10? I'm blanking on the closing time at the moment.

There's always room service, especially if you are in a concierge level stateroom.

We are considering Regatta to Alaska in June. We usually cruise HAL and are wondering if there is a venue similar to the Lido on Oceania. We are late risers and enjoy a buffet breakfast in the Lido.

Thanks in advance for your input.
