ES & Upgrade Question

Can you upgrade cabins without a penalty fee but paying the increased fare if cabins are available?

Yes you can. We just moved from a porthole to a interior spa cabin and paid the difference of 100.00. We are booked under the early saver rate. No penalty fee.

Yes. I recently did exactly that on an early saver fare, changing from an extended aft balcony (8N) to an aft-wrap (VS) on Deck 7, and then changed again to yet another VS, this one on Deck 4. There was no penalty fee for either move, I just paid the difference in rates.

I'm told downgrading is another story, and there would definitely be penalty fees in that event.

I'm pretty sure my TA is happy I've finally made up my mind!;)
