Where to meet in Canaveral

We will be meeting with friends in Cape Canaveral. Does anyone know how close to the ship they will be able to pick us up? Or where they can meet us?

As soon as you disembark there is a waiting area for shuttle buses (airport, rental car etc.). They should be able to pick you up right there. When we left the terminal it was about a 1 minute walk and is at the end of the terminal parking.

easy peasy :D. my parents just met us at that pier last week since they live in Fla - was easy for them to park and meet us at the exit of the ship. they could have waited in their car with the taxi's though. was even easier to drop us off, it was literally right there at the ship, an easy walk thru customs and onto the ship. was a great day in Fla. we went out to eat & to the space center. there are lighted signs on the highway that has the ship names on it - "Monarch" and "Gem" were on it last Monday. thanks to a veteran (and veteran poster) that gave me good info on this board the day before our trip.
