Back from AOS and Antigua

We just got back from AOS cruise to Antigua and southern caribbean. On this day we booked Antigua Beach Extravaganza thru the RCL website. The ship got into port around 0830 and we got into our tour line. We were given a tour spacific bracelet and then got on to a van that took us all to Dickinson Beach. The van ride was bout 15 min. and we entered thru a resort and on to the public beach. Two chairs and an umbrella and rum punch were part of our $52 price as well as a beach side lunch of cheeseburgers, ribs, coleslaw, potatoes and lettuce salad. Water, soda and cocktails/beer available. The beach was spectacular with white sand and plenty of places for food/drink. We were near the Sandals Resort and could walk around there. There were plenty of beach vendors that walked among the beach chairs. They are allowed to show you their goods and if you say 'no thank-you' they are suposed to leave you alone. We didn't have any problems with them and they do move on to the next tourist. We loved Antigua and it's beaches and would recommend Dickinson Beach to everyone.
