drk Posted March 15, 2011 #1 Share Posted March 15, 2011 We're booked in an inside on the 3/24 Century cruise. Today the cruise is listed on the Tuesday special with guarantee concierge cabins for $100pp more than we paid for our inside. The travel agent just tried to upgrade us (with us paying the difference of course). Was told can't do this because it's for new bookings only. No big deal but just wondering if anyone else has had any luck with a paid upgrade in a similar situation?
tuggers Posted March 15, 2011 #2 Share Posted March 15, 2011 I can't recall X making exceptions to that, at least not in the last few years. If X's published rate came down it would be no problem, but HH's are 'special'. Sorry!

The person they got said as long as it increased revenue for the ship, you pay something more than you have already, it was allowed. They also said it depended on who answers the phone. The increased revenue for the ship was the key for them
