I personally will not use a travel agency that refuses to accept my Captain's Club coupons. I noticed in one of your posts that you live in Aurora, Ohio. My husband grew up in a suburb of Cleveland and his family belonged to a country club on Aurora Road.
SAN Posted April 23, 2004 #6 Share Posted April 23, 2004 Why won't some travel agency use them if you are a CC member? Can't you mail them to Celebrity and not bother telling your TA?

Some travel agents won't let you use the Captain's Club coupons because it lowers their commission. There are also some travel agents that won't let you take advantage of a price reduction after the initial booking for the same reason. That is why it can sometimes cost more to use a "discount" travel agent than a regular one.
reggierail Posted April 23, 2004 #8 Share Posted April 23, 2004 Haven't gotten my coupons yet. Can anyone please check to see if there's a coupon for the Mercury Dec. 6. alcpa1 Posted April 23, 2004 #9 Share Posted April 23, 2004 Thanks for the notice. We are about to book the Connie again and the coupon sure will come in handy. Almost succumbed to the Golden Princess, but I just couldn't do it. Once was enough.

JJPNYC Posted April 23, 2004 #11 Share Posted April 23, 2004 Can you give the details of the Mercury 10-night Mexican Riviera $150 coupon? Is it for certain cabin categories? Only for new bookings? I haven't gotten my coupons yet and am dearly interested as I'm already booked on the 11/26/04 Mercury sailing and would love to save some money on it. No TA involvement.
