AND of course we walked off the ship on the last morning with 3 each vouchers tossed. We each had one bloody mary the last morning.

Our navigator cruise last month we opted for NO drink package. I wanted to put it to a test with our 4 ea. diamond drinks a day. I told myself I would not do anything different. I sent back a drink I didn't like. I ordered what I wanted the entire cruise. I did order the bottled water case delivered to our state room. We stayed on the ship the entire week. We were sure to tell servers that we are paying when we order a beer vs a fancy drink we told them to use our vouchers. We also took advantage of the BOGO beer and wine. I was shocked! After the test, lets just say, I'll never buy a drink package again. We came out WAY ahead and didn't change our consumption. We did cruise as a couple alone and I know hubby drinks more with friend pressure. But we came out so far ahead even cruising in a group I would never buy it.

anyone notice the location of the NON pool side casitas on the navigator? Are they on the upper pool deck?

I cant get the web site to redeem gift certificates to work. ( or buy them ) I called and got a very long email address to request credit on a booking. Is that the route you took? thanks

I wish they would fix that web site. You can not choose a dollar amount to purchase a gift card. 😕

Diamond here. Next cruise will be the first time I am not buying it. With 2 of the days being embark and debark, I'm curious about the our actual cost. I'll be testing it this cruise. 10 to 11 drinks a day to break even and port days I expect our 4 ea. diamond will do. I am planning on ordering as usual just to compare. Should be interesting.

The key is to always have an attendant take the belongings off the chair. When chair hog returns, if they ever do, you have one statement. "the pool attendant took your stuff after watching your chairs for a while"

My next cruise I requested a table for 2 to move things along a bit quicker. Our last Royal cruise we had a table for 6 and really enjoyed our table mates, but boy was it a long production

I agree!!! More often then not I come down with cold/flue symptoms after a cruise/flying. I'm sure I still will. I will not feel the need to complain/announce it on a cruise message board just like I never have before. I will feel no need to stick a swab up my nose either...Yea, I am one of those too. Finally I am allowed to cruise again. I have been doing all inclusive vacations in the Caribbean for the last 3 years while I was not allowed to cruise. twice a year and loved it.

We had a very scary experience in Acapulco. I'm well traveled and would never do it on my own again. We had to tell a guy that ALL OF OUR MONEY was on the ship, but if he LET US GO, we would go get it and bring him payment. He literally walked us right to the security gate at the ship. We went through that gate, and didn't look back. Dont do it on your own.

Royal Caribbean just answered my question regarding Florida Departures. I wont even post what they just told me.

out of Florida, No proof of vaccination required. Extra testing and mask wearing required . AND Covid insurance. I'll just make a phone call regarding the insurance. Not looking for a vaccine debate.

Is Rccl's new enhanced travel protection considered covid insurance for the unvaccinated out of Florida?
