Butts up???

Just wondering how many times we're going to be hearing "Butts up" during cave tubing in 20 days. anyone gone lately to tell us what the water level is like in the river?

Just went last week on Thursday, I was first in line and got probably 5 or 6 rock hits to the butt, then I learned to really keep by butt up!!! Lots of areas were water was really low! They got us thru, never had to get out of my tub! It was just so easy to relax and kick back and you don't realize your butt in hanging too low in the tub, so companies had really fancy tubs withthe mesh in the seats so your not really even inthe water, I booked thru Reggie Tours and we had the old black inner tire tubs! Just fine with us, we had a really good time.

Just went last Wednesday with cavetubing dot com. Heard "butts up" twice but never did hit. I did hear my tube scraping a couple of times. Water level was ok in general though. Good time.

My son was very disappointed when we went that he did NOT receive a butt massage when he didn't go "butts up!"

Remember, this is the end of the dry season in Belize, so water levels will be low unless there is rain in the next week are so.

thanks for the replies - just hoping that the water levels were sufficient to have a good time. Well, we'll have a good time regardless, but also wanted to just free float and not get dragged! 16 days to go...... :D

We will be there in just a few days and I'm hoping that the water levels stay low for a few more days. I'm taking my children with me this time and if the water is more shallow they will be more secure.
