Radisson Bahia Mar Beach Resort??

My family and I booked a room at the Radisson for the night before we leave for our cruise. I have been reading this board often and have not really heard anyone mention this hotel. Is this a bad sign?? Has anyone stayed here before or has any info?? It would be helpful...still have time to cancel and book somewhere else.

I have not stayed there but have been by it. Seems like a very nice property. I was wondering how it was as well since it is in a nice location.

A friend stayed there last November and reported that it was good and you can catch the water taxi right there. They also enjoyed the bar.

We stayed just this past Feb. and loved it. We had requested a partial ocean view and got to see the ships that were in the port. The water taxi is the home base at the Radisson. It was a great hotel and very close to the beach, restaurants. By the way we took a taxi from the airport to the hotel and was around 10-15 dollars depending on how much you are held up in traffic. We had planned to take a taxi to the ship but the hotel has a private service that will take you to the pier. I cannot remember the price but if you wish you can take a taxi. Also there is no breakfast included in the room rate like some other ones have. We were very pleased with the hotel. Have a good time.

It is a beautiful, clean, spacious hotel which has a great location--water taxis, beach, pool. I got married there actually last winter--and they did a beautiful job--the food at dinner was incredible---they have a very nice bar too. I must say don't go for the breakfast buffet, just order something off the menu. It's overrated and overpriced. Overall it was very nice. I was very happy with it as was everyone else.
