Ext Aft Balconies on the Legend and Valor

Are they noisey? Do you hear a lot of engine sound?

Engine noise? No

 

The only issue I had was that I was on the deck immediatly below the Lido. Every morning I woke up to the sound of the crew dragging the lounge chairs across the deck to set up for the upcoming day.

 

Which, considering the fact that I'm on a cruise and not at work, was only a minor inconvience

I sailed on the Valor the week of 2-27-11 in aft balcony cabin 7451. We were on the Empress deck so there was no noise from the common areas. No egine noise but there was a slight vibration. It didnt bother me or my wife at all if anything it was soothing. I would get the same cabin again in second the views are awsome and the extened balcony gives you almost twice the room.
