mdvlprof Posted March 22, 2011 #1 Share Posted March 22, 2011 Do any Newark Airport hotels have accessible shuttles? I know, I know, ADA legal stuff, but sometimes it's just not worth the time. [per hour, my time is worth alot].
raindropsalways Posted March 24, 2011 #2 Share Posted March 24, 2011 We stayed at the Ramada Newark Intl Airport EWR, 160 Frontage Road, Newark, NJ 07114. Their shuttle has a lift. When I arrived in the afternoon, the lift was not working correctly, however the day driver knew how to operate it. When Ruth arrived in wee hours of the morning, the night driver could not get the lift to work so he called another bus with a lift to take her to the hotel. Since there were two of us with mobility scooters, we called and reserved the “large” vehicle with a lift through Bayonne City Yellow Cab (201) 339-5000. We felt that they were very reasonable. piperlee Posted April 2, 2011 #3 Share Posted April 2, 2011 mdvlprof, I read another post on a thread we both commented on and noticed you have a son who uses a wheelchair. My 20 year old son has CP also has a wc. We are going on our first cruise this summer and would love to get some tips from you. Sorry to hijack your thread. Thanks in advance. :)
