I have not stayed at the Renaissance, but have stayed many times at the Embassy Suites and it is a GREAT hotel... clean, great breakfast, lots of space! They do have airport to hotel shuttle and provide hotel to pier shuttle (they do now charge a small fee that is included in their Cruise Package). I love Embassy Suites!

How much is the fee for the shuttle to the pier? What about if you booked your room with Priceline? What would the fee be then for the shuttle? We may end up taking a cab if there's a charge because I've heard that's it's only about $6 or $7 for cab fare to the pier....and you wouldn't have to wait for the shuttle.

laginog, definitely take a taxi. It's less than two miles, if that to the port and taxi is only about $6. +tip. IMO just a lot more convenient.

Thanks for the hotel info. I currently have a reservation at Westin but am deciding whether to change it because of location and travel to/from airport/port. I love Embassy Suites as well and will be looking into this hotel instead.

Thanks.
