I am sure I am dating myself but we were on the Majesty 1996 and the CD was Kyle. We have been on a cruise every year since 1996 and have never seen him again. He was certainly the best. He sang Proud to be an American that brought tears to your eyes. All the CD'S have been good. I am sure it is a difficult to please everyone.

Clo O'Connor is presently CD on Jewel of the Seas.........she boarded with us on Feb 9th and will leave after the Transatlantic in May. It was great to see he again as she's our favourite CD, her husband and 15month son are also on board with her.

I heard a rumor from another cruise director that Ken Rush will be the CD on the Mariner 46 day around the horn cruise in Jan 09. Just incase anyone was wondering

just off Majesty 2-18 to 2-22 cruise, Abe Hughes said he had to come back to fill in for a few weeks then go back to Brilliance. So by the middle of March I would think Abe will be back on Brilliance.

Hi, Marilyn - When I spoke to Simon, while we were on the cruise, he told me, he had been promoted to Cruise Director; however, on our cruise he was filling in for Kirt Detwiler. After the cuise following ours, he would be transferred to the Navigator and work with Keiron Buffery, again.

Hi Bette! It was great meeting you and Bill. I definitely hope our paths cross again in the future. I wondered about Simon since I hadn't heard anything about him and was told that Kirk would be our CD. He did a pretty good job for just filling in.

He did a wonderful job. Did you see the Captain's cake decorating event? I would have loved to have done the B2B to see how Simon got even with the Captain (that's where he indicated he was leaving the Radiance)
