Snorkle Charter Charlotte Amalie

I've been looking around for potential snorkel charters for an upcoming cruise and have been hitting a snag. It seems like the big thing in St Thomas is sail/snorkel and that's cool with me except most boats seem limited to 6 people. I have a group of 11 and would like to get on the same boat if possible and it doesn't need to be a sailboat. I was wondering if anyone could recommend anyone.

Try Catamaran Sailing Charters Happy Hour. They leave out of Charlotte Amalie, so you don't have to go to Red Hook, and they have an 18 passenger capacity. Boats in the USVI with no more than 6 passengers don't have to be Coast Guard certified, whereas those that carry more have to be. Try their website: http://www.sailhappyhour.com or phone 340-998-3074.

Well that sure explains the 6 passenger thing. :)

I'll check them out. Looks like we'd have to get a special sail time as they leave at 9 on the early trip and our ship doesn't dock until 9 and they get back at 4:30 on the afternoon and our ship leaves at 5. I'll contact them and see.
