KissimmeeFamily Posted March 9, 2005 #1 Share Posted March 9, 2005 Can someone tell me the difference between the catagory 7 deluxe stateroom with navigator's verandah and the catagory 6 with just verandah?
jcerniglow Posted March 9, 2005 #2 Share Posted March 9, 2005 the navigator's veranda has a very large circular opening. the regular vernada is what you traditionally see. I have had both and have no strong feelings against the navigator's veranda.
laujac Posted March 9, 2005 #3 Share Posted March 9, 2005 Also, we were told when trying to rebook that the Navigator rooms only sleep three... so if you have four in your party you will need to go with a regular verandah.
dcwlopez Posted March 15, 2005 #4 Share Posted March 15, 2005 We had a Navigator's Veranda when we went with our son. We chose this over the regular veranda due to the fact that even though our son was 10 at the time, he has very poor impulse control and we were afraid with a regular veranda he'd do something stupid and fall out. The room was very nice with a divider between our bed and his. There was only room for 3 in the room not 4 (one large bed and one twin that converted to a couch). The veranda was very nice we would sit out there and watch the world go by. Because its mostly covered the breeze was more gentle there than when we were on the decks near the railing. Hope this helps.
BambiRumsey Posted March 15, 2005 #5 Share Posted March 15, 2005 How old is your child? Our daughter was 5 when we took her last fall. We were upgraded from an outside guarantee to a nav. verandah. With the steel lower portion she couldn't see unless she stood on one of the chairs...an idea that I was not exactly thrilled with...
