Navigator's verandah vs. regular verandah

We had a Navigator's Veranda when we went with our son. We chose this over the regular veranda due to the fact that even though our son was 10 at the time, he has very poor impulse control and we were afraid with a regular veranda he'd do something stupid and fall out. The room was very nice with a divider between our bed and his. There was only room for 3 in the room not 4 (one large bed and one twin that converted to a couch). The veranda was very nice we would sit out there and watch the world go by. Because its mostly covered the breeze was more gentle there than when we were on the decks near the railing. Hope this helps.

How old is your child?

Our daughter was 5 when we took her last fall. We were upgraded from an outside guarantee to a nav. verandah. With the steel lower portion she couldn't see unless she stood on one of the chairs...an idea that I was not exactly thrilled with...
