Is an upsell at the pier possible?

We leave tomorrow on the Norwegian Jewel, and there is still lots of cabins left. Is it possible to ask for an upsell or an upgrade at the pier? Will they give it to me at regular price, or will they give me a cheaper "upsell" price at that point?

Sabrett, I remember a sign at Guest Services when I boarded last October stating "No Upgrades are Available". So my guess if it is, just ask, the worst they can say is no.

I've never seen upgrades at the pier. They've always had a sign indicating no upgrades available any time I've sailed. They definitely won't do them at check-in. They might do it after you've boarded if you go to the guest services desk. But I've also seen the sign posted there as well.

They usually do calls for upsells, and try to keep the ship sold out
