On Hold, The Musical

Now come on you have spent enough time on these threads to know this has been discussed at lenght. The problem is that it is a shame that many peple have heard too many minutes of "On Hold" we would all rather they spent more effort on answering the actual calls.

I was exposed to it the first time a couple of weeks ago. The online booking wasn't working - at least not for the cruise I wanted to book, which had just opened up - so I had to resort to calling. Thankfully, I did not hear much of the musical. It was funny but also kind of obnoxious. I really do not want to be entertained whilst on hold. It beats what I get when I call The Help Desk at work, however -- scratchy music, bad recording. I'd rather hear white noise than that!
