Private Guides or Tour Companies in Amsterdam

Does anyone have any first-hand knowledge of either private guides or tour companies in Amsterdam? We will be there for 3 days after our cruise and would like to see as much as we can.

I don't know what benefit you would get from a private guide. Amsterdam is so walkable and with a good guide book, you could get around everything easilly on your own.

Like Andym says, Amsterdam is a good city for walking and taking a tram or bus. Have a look at this Amsterdam card, which gives a lot of discounts, also to musea, restaurants, daytrips and public transport etc.:
